MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Inventory & Controlled

Purpose

Inventory & Controlled tracks on-hand medication and authorized receive, dispense, waste, and adjustment transactions.

HIPAA, Clinical Governance, and Proprietary Training Notice

Medication information contains highly sensitive protected health information and must be handled under the Provider's HIPAA policies, role-based access rules, minimum necessary standard, and applicable clinical requirements.

To protect medication safety procedures and the proprietary workflow of True Care System, selected advanced functions are intentionally not published in full. Official Provider customers receive direct, role-based training from the True Care System team for licensed nurses and other personnel who are formally authorized by the Provider to manage or administer medications.

Corrects quantity after approved reconciliation or investigation.

Provider training covers transaction authorization, receiving, dispensing, waste, adjustments, controlled-substance reconciliation, witnessing, discrepancy escalation, exports, and audit preparation.
