Questions and Answers
What are the four billing readiness steps?
Individual Readiness, DSP Readiness, Visit Review, and Sandata Submission.
What is Provider Setup?
It stores Provider-specific Sandata environment, identifiers, payer/program, timezone, endpoints, account information, and enabled status.
Why is a record Not Ready?
One or more required Provider, Individual, employee, service, payer, visit, call/GPS, correction, or sequence fields are missing or invalid.
What does Preview JSON do?
It allows authorized billing staff to review the selected outbound payload before submission.
What does a transaction UUID represent?
It identifies the Sandata transaction used to track submission status and responses.
What should happen after rejection?
Correct only the identified source issue, preserve the prior history, create or reuse the approved resubmission workflow, and verify the new result.
Does Sandata submission replace Medicaid claim submission?
No. EVV submission and Medicaid claim processing are separate workflows unless a specific payer or state program defines otherwise.
